Hi everyone

I have finally been able to login to My Membership area of the CIPD website. I wanted to update my info.

I noticed that my membership status is now showing as 'Associate' and not 'Student' but I have not yet received notification or my diploma certificate - it was sent off by my learning provider 3 weeks ago.

I take it i am now an Associate member?? Can someone please clarify?

Ah I have just found another post by a member from a few months ago and it looks like my status on here will change from student to associate member once the new status has worked its way through the system

Thank you so much. I am so happy I am even considering the Level 7 after I have had a short break from studying which I was adamant I wouldn't do before!!

Just goes to show us old birds can do anything when we put our minds to it

Thanks Steve. I was told around 6 weeks to receive the certificate so assumed once I had it, my membership would be updated on here but it is the other way around.

Hi Lisa,
Congratulations on completing the level 5 HRM!
I have also completed my Level 5 recently so I am waiting for mine to upgrade too. Can I just ask, did you apply for the dual award (with ILM)? I plan on applying for the membership with them also, but wondered if you knew if it is Associate Membership (AMInstLM) or Membership (MInstLM)? Many thanks,
