Hello

I am interested in studying for a CIPD qualification in HR, but not sure which way to go. Ideally I would like study the Level 5 HR Management but the cost is too much for me (family to support on part time wage) and I was wondering if the apprenticeship route provides that same qualification level but just in a different way?

Over ten years ago I studied a Level 3 in Learning and Development and I took my career to being a L&D Manager. Last year I managed to make the change into a HR Officer role, that I had been trying to do for over 4 years and now I would really like to take the step to gaining a qualification.

The company I am with does work with Apprenticeships in different roles, so I am hopeful this is something they will consider, but before approaching them about I would like to know if it is worth it.
