I mastered HR Management in a UK University so most of my knowledge on HR practices and employment law is that of the UK. However, I ended up practicing HR in Nigeria where the laws and ethics are different from that which I know.

Is there anyone on a similar boat? While HR is the same in a lot of places, there are a few Countries where the ethics in particular are totally different.

I just try to stay CIPD qualified to stay up to date on my knowledge and I just joined the community to share experiences and see if there are any CIPD members in West Africa struggling to maintain their qualification and attend conferences when they can.
