CIPD membership tax relief

Hi, 

I was wondering if anyone had completed the HMRC tax relief form to enable them to get tax relief on their CIPD membership?

If so,  was this an easy and quick process?

Do you need to do it every year?

I know very little about it, other than the CIPD page says members can claim tax relief.

  • Hi, I did this recently and found it really easy. I did it via my Government Gateway account which takes about 10 minutes to set up. I was able to back claim for previous 5 years in which I had not claimed relief. My tax code was amended within two weeks and I also received a payment into my bank account of the relief that had not been applied for the previous five years
