HR External Support

Good Afternoon

We are a relatively small veterinary practice but growing in numbers.

Whilst I have some HR knowledge there are issues which I may need advice on, I do occasionally post on here and have had some very good advice, thank you.

I am beginning to wonder whether I should try and get an external HR Support company on board and wonder whether anyone on here could suggest one.

I am currently looking at Avensure and Peninsula are there any others out there.

There are may alternatives.
I would recommend finding someone good who is local and has backup in case of holiday/sickness.

I’d second Peter’s advice - go local, to get pragmatic adhoc advice. Ask for recommendations from other local business owners. Make sure you get on with the people who will be advising you - I feel that external HR support needs an understanding of your company’s culture to be able to provide the right advice.
