4 Can I countersign a passport?

I've been asked to counter sign a friends passport, I'm an Assoc member so technically I can sign for it. however; I'm currently unemployed. would this effect anything?

Nope. Membership or associate membership counts as working in the profession, even if you're not currently employed (or employed in another capacity).

thanks, unfortunately where I live there isn't much on the market for part-time work that accommodates people with disabilities... but I keep trying. I'm tempted to set up on my own, but it's the capital and know how I'm lacking.
