Change Management Network

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is a specific change management network or how someone wanting to start a career in change management may connect?

Thanks!

  • Hi Jody, not entirely sure but the CIPD branch networks could be a good place to start and connect with those who may work across change management. www.cipd.org/.../

    Thanks Traveen!
  • Linkedin has various change management groups.
  • Sandra's LinkedIn suggestion is a good one. You might also want to check out Eventbrite for change oriented sessions.

I'd recommend reading books on change - Orginsation Development by Mee-Yan Cheung-Judge and Linda Holbeche, The Change Manager's Handbook is another and also check out Natal Dank (Agile HR) that has a number of principles that inform change management. Natal has done a couple of sessions for the CIPD which should be free on their You Tube channel.

There are also podcasts on change management and organisational development too.

There are communities like the EODF and ODNE - that look at organisation design and organisational development, both elements of change management, that could be worth exploring too.

Finally, there are formal training course which I would recommend once you have some experience although of course you could start with formal training and then gain experience.

Wishing you all the best whatever path/ paths you choose.
