Remote work in various countries

Hello all,

Greetings from Switzerland! I'm interested in how HR professionals in different countries approach employee flexibility. In Switzerland, balancing hybrid work, productivity, and team cohesion continues to evolve. We have a small flower delivery company in Switzerland with about 50% of our team working from home part-time. How has your organisation adapted its flexible working policies over the past few years, and what practices have worked particularly well (or not worked at all)? For us, we've noticed a very slow start towards working from home when covid hit, but it's actually stronger today. Some of my colleagues in America are reporting the opposite: large adoption of hybrid working following covid, but strongly back to "in office" now. What have you noticed in your industry?

  • Discussing international experience in managing remote work allows HR professionals to find the optimal balance between schedule flexibility and maintaining a strong team culture across countries. In the process of adapting hybrid models, many companies have realised that to maintain high productivity and employee engagement, it is critical to implement a comprehensive employee wellness program that takes care of the mental and physical health of the team outside the office. This caring approach to the organisation of the work process helps to strengthen trust within the team, regardless of whether colleagues work from home or at classic office desks.
