How is your organisation responding to the UK heatwave?

With temperatures rising across the UK, I’m interested to hear how others are supporting their teams to stay safe, comfortable, and productive.

We know the impact of heat can go beyond physical discomfort , affecting wellbeing, concentration, and inclusion (particularly for those with health conditions, caring responsibilities, or roles that can’t easily be adapted). Many families are also juggling disruption, with some children being sent home from school.

I’ve seen a few examples of how organisations are responding such as DHL Germany providing delivery workers cooling equipment and construction industries adjusting working hours to avoid the hottest parts of the day, but I’d really value hearing what others are doing during this hot spell!
