What are private messages?
A private message is a communication between two people which nobody other than those two people can read. 

Where do I find them?
You can find all of the messages which people have sent to you and which you have sent to others from the Private Messages icon (an 'envelope') at the very top of the page.

Why do I have so many unread messages?

We felt it was important for ‘historical' private messages to be carried over from the 'old' Community. Unfortunately, these will appear as ‘unread’, meaning you may have messages flagged as 'unread' when this is obviously not the case. Sorry about the confusion.

We have now rolled out a "Mark All As Read" feature!
