which level of HR role to apply for

Good Afternoon everyone,

This is my first time using or viewing the Careers Clinic, and I'll be very grateful for any advice.

Having paid for it myself, I am currently studying for CIPD Level 5 / Intermediate certificate, and my current job role is a Training Services Advisor (a role which is more focused unfortunately on compliance than L&D or anything HR related).  My plan had been to complete the CIPD course then apply for a new role.  However, my department has just been informed we're at risk, formal consultations begin next week and we're 99% certain to go.  Given that I'm part way through my studies, what sort of role/s should I be looking to apply for?  I have two years previous experience as an HR Advisor and also have an bachelor's degree in HRM.
