I'm about to enrol in the Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management after working within an HR Officer role for the last 3 years.
Can anyone give me the general overview of will be required in terms of resources for this course please?

Great to hear you are starting your CIPD course soon. Your study centre will advise on these kinds of questions. There are loads of resources:
CIPD site which you will access with your student membership
Your study centre learning platform - we have around 50 to 100 resources and links per unit to start you off
Your own research
The CIPD recommended books - new/secondhand or via a subscription service - we have one core book for L5 that we generally suggest is helpful but there are lots for each topic if you want them
