2 Suggestions for moving my HR career from USA to UK

Hello - As a frequent visitor to the UK, I would very much like to move my HR career from the USA to the UK. I am currently a Sr. HR Business Partner in the USA, but am very willing to take a few steps down on the career ladder in order to work/live in the UK. I have been studying UK employment law to prepare for the move. I've submitted my CV mainly to companies that have a presence in the US and the UK. I realize that finding a company to sponsor me is the key to this process. I would greatly appreciate any advice that would help with my search. Thanks! Carolyn

Do you have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship?

If not then its very unlikely that a more junior HR position would/could attract sponsorship (as they would have to show a lack of suitably skilled people in UK/EU)

So if you don't then the best way is probably via an internal transfer from USA to UK within the same company.
