Risk Assessment for Pregnancy and out of hours working

We have a senior member of the team who is pregnant and talking through the risk assessment with her, we talked about stress in the workplace and what support she requires from us to ensure that this is not having a detrimental impact on her/growing baby's health and well being.  We talked about the need for her to share any concerns with her line manager and if she is finding the work too stressful to take regular breaks and ask her colleagues for support etc.

She also talked about how she often spends time at home working in the evenings/on her days off (part time) due to the pressures of work but she enjoys her role and does not feel that this is causing her any added stress.   Can someone please advise as to how I can address this as part of the risk assessment.

Do I confirm that we have had the discussion and the employee feels that the extra work (which is business as usual at School) is not causing her to feel any additional stress but she will raise this with her line manager if it is having a negative impact.    We can't insist she stops working at home as she will just do it. Advice needed please - thank you!

Have you studied such as this guidance?

Employers are generally obliged to do all that’s ‘reasonably practicable’ to ensure the health safety and wellbeing of their employees.

Had there been evidence this person been trying to cope prior to pregnancy with an unreasonable workload imposed on her and / or had been suffering from fatigue or similar workload or stress related conditions then as you say that would indicate a significant particular risk relating to the pregnancy which called for control. But if this isn’t the case and the demands of the job are much the same as for all teachers, then suggest that all that’s reasonably practicable for the risk assessment is what you suggest in your last paragraph above.
