Recruitment in Ireland

Hi all

I work for a company based in England, who are looking to recruit an Engineer based in the Republic of Ireland. I don't really want to go down the agency route as I'd like to keep costs down but have no experience of recruiting in this area. I've done some research online, but would appreciate any local knowledge regarding job boards/ other avenues to consider? The role is a Service Engineer within the boiler industry.

    I hope you have made progress with this. A lot of recruitment in Ireland is now done online, on recruitment sites and Linkedin, so they are a good place to start advertising. For an engineering role, you could try Engineers Ireland, the professional association.
    Its a tight labour market for engineers at the moment, so don't overlook some advertising in the UK for an Irish-based role.

    As mentioned. your contract and working conditions will have to comply with Irish legislation, and you can view our factsheets on cipd.ie.
