Good morning
We are currently a 14 school MAT (circa. 1000 staff) and although we previously utilised a platform (for both HR and Payroll) for a short period of time, we quickly moved away from them back to our previous payroll provider.
Currently, we are out sourcing our payroll to an education specialist provider but this is not sustainable due to the poor quality of service we receive. We also need to move to a HRMIS system due to our recent growth and potential for further growth and although payroll is not an immediate issue we need to resolve, we are looking at our options for 12-18 months down the line.
My questions for the community is, what HRMIS & Payroll systems do you currently use in your school/MAT; I'm struggling to find one that I don't hear mostly negative comments about and although I suspect we are expecting the system to work miracles, none of them will and perhaps we need to lower our expectations. However, I am aware that implementation of these systems is never easy so it's going to take lots of hard work, time and capacity.
I would be really grateful if you could let me know which system you are currently using and any negative/positives and whether this has bought about any increased efficiencies within your HR teams.
